About The Role

In this role Vmware is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team in Costa Rica and help us achieve best-in-class operations within our Partner Incentives ecosystem with emphasis on the Partner Incentive Programs that support our SaaS business model.

We are looking for a combination of Project Management experience with Change Management and Training background. You will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing the comprehensive platform enhancement roadmap with our vendors.

Individual in this role will be tasked with implementing new automation and infrastructure to stand up brand new operational activities that support VMware’s portfolio of Channel Incentive Programs.

Additionally, will be responsible for defining, re-engineering, and transforming existing processes to drive efficiencies and scale growth.

You are highly motivated, results-oriented and possess the ability to take the initiative to complete complex tasks quickly and autonomously, are adept at fast paced environments, navigating and working cross-functionally within a large organization.

You have experience managing Medium to Large projects with multiple stakeholders and players, and with an ongoing delivery timeline, Change Management projects and understand the framework and requirements to deliver training to both external (partner) and internal audience.

Experience in Channel is highly desired.

You will be working closely with the Vendor teams, Internal IT, Procurement and Program Team to deliver digital capabilities to drive ease of doing business.

Success will depend on your ability to build the right relationships, collaborate well and understand the holistic picture with all impacting moving parts.

Must also have strong business acumen and maturity, with ability to connect continuous improvement outcomes to business value.

This role is project management based, but also operational in nature, and will include additional duties and responsibilities applicable to maintaining the integrity of the Partner Channel and the Incentive Program.

Responsibilities :

  • Take a lead role on projects to build, standardize, optimize, and enhance business and operational capabilities, support program changes and new requirements for assigned areas.
  • Schedule performance reviews with the preferred vendors and appropriate internal stakeholders to review program / platform performance, partner usage, and service level measurements
  • Provide Vendor oversight through ongoing dialogue and communication with the vendors through regular meetings, emails, telephone calls and formal vendor communications and notifications and ensure vendors are meeting business and contractual requirements
  • Must have the ability to create dashboards, custom reports, trackers, at short notice, monitor / report on SLA / KPI as defined
  • Develop and implement ongoing Partner Enablement and Training plan and content to meet the goals of partner and internal team readiness for each wave functionality release
  • Build and maintain the detailed project plan considering all peripheral and moving parts; manage all status update communications to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Be accountable for system testing, both UAT and smoke testing as part of process improvements or enhancement releases.
  • Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope.
  • Build thorough process documentation of all processes managed and ensure documentation is up to date at all times
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to resolve issues, risk mitigation and system challenges in the program.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience with Vendor Relationship Management.
  • Thorough understanding of project management techniques and method.Proven track record in successful project management delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience with is preferredSoftware industries experience, SaaS (Subscription as a Service) preferredExperience in Change Management in Channel and with Partners is a PLUS.

    Excellent verbal and written communication are required

  • High attention to detail and ability to work within demanding deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
