The Opportunity

Adobe Analytics is an industry leader in digital data collection and reporting. There is a huge opportunity to convert the vast amount of data the company collects into impactful insights, and your challenge will be to develop and champion a vision for the intelligent services that will make this possible.

Major areas of opportunity include :

Automatically determining which information is most relevant in large

data sets.

Surfacing and interpreting identified insights in a clear, intuitive manner

Improving usability of complex systems through recommendations

Applying the above to internal Adobe use cases

You will join the leadership of Adobe Analytics and contribute directly to the product roadmap. You will direct a high-performing team of data scientists and software engineers to build the next generation of intelligent services that will allow enterprise customers to understand and learn from their data.

Many services will result from partnerships with Adobe’s world-class research groups to develop novel solutions to customer use cases.

You will guide these laboratories to focus on the areas of greatest impact and facilitate the transfer of state-of-the-art technologies into customer-facing products.

What you’ll do

Direct a high-performing team of data scientists and software engineers to build the next generation of intelligent services that will allow enterprise customers to understand and learn from their data.

Hiring and guiding data scientists / analysts, helping them prioritize their work, and making sure they grow.

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data modeling, and other data science approaches to gain deep insights into customers'
  • behaviors / journeys across surfaces, short and long-term trends.

    Partner with Adobe’s world-class research groups to develop novel solutions to customer use cases.

    Guide these laboratories to focus on the areas of greatest impact and facilitate transfer of state-of-the-art technologies into customer-facing products.

    What you need to succeed

    An advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred).

    2+ year of experience in managing other team members in a formal or informal capacity .

    4+ years of hands-on experience doing quantitative analysis.

    Proven experience using quantitative analysis / statistical modeling on data sets to tackle intricate business problems .

    Phenomenal at telling stories with data and presenting it to partners at all levels to influence critical decision making .

    Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages (Hive / Hadoop preferred), Python, R, etc.

    Experience with statistics in SaaS or Subscription Business model environment, direct experience crafting and executing A / B tests a plus.

    Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
