Job Description


Purpose :

The Sourcing Support Specialist will manage Low Value, Low Impact, Low Risk sourcing work with Preferred Suppliers in Americas.

He / she will also act as Subject Matter Expert on P2P process, ensure compliance to company policy to minimize risk impact to the company.

  • Provide advice to businesses in tactical buying areas
  • Day-to-day sourcing of non-strategic goods via email from an existing supplier with lower levels of spend, negotiate price and terms to obtain best value for the company
  • Facilitate collaboration with local Sourcing contact, in relation to sourcing matters as well as vendor and contract management.
  • Seek ways to improve service quality by initiating process excellence improvements

    Scope and Impact :

  • Regional : Covers all spend in the North America region for the designated categories and ensure the sourcing shared service center offer all necessary support.
  • Always operate with Objectives in mind, and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded. Ensure high customer centricity. Support team initiatives.
  • Proactive to support any region.

  • Provide advice to businesses in tactical buying areas, Ariba support system training and guidance to employees, Catalogue Management, Procure-
  • to-Pay compliance and education, H2O Update, Manage new vendor setup requests

    Relationships Internal / External :

    1) Customer relationships are critical to support purchasing process and increase customer satisfaction.

    2) Regional Sourcing, Sourcing operations, Category Sourcing Managers are the most critical internal relationships.

    Skills and competences :

    Excellent communication skills, good level of English written and spoken 2-3 years in sourcing or related procurement experience Ability to work under pressure Data analysis skill is a plus Multi-

    culture background will be preferred Ability to work under pressure Ability to multi-task Prior experience of working in a Multi-

    Cultural environment and remotely supporting the customers.
