Position summary
The Pay, Time & Benefits Team focuses on payroll, benefits and absence management support and provides customer service and advisory support to employees, HR and business partners ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.
As a Pay, Time & Benefits Sr Specialist, you are responsible for payroll, time, benefits data maintenance and administrative activities in a timely and accurate manner.
You are also contributing to the continuous improvement of the People Support Solutions delivery. This is coupled with strong customer focus, communication skills and solution orientation.
Responsibilities :
Perform a variety of payroll, time and benefits administrative and analytical activities in support of the LATAM HR affiliates.
Serves as Tier2 point of contact for all payroll & benefits customer inquiries.
Ability to interpret HR policies and practices for LATAM payroll administration.
Understanding and working knowledge of Roche local time / absence policies.
Provide timely responses to customer payroll inquiries by using an internal case management system.
Internal understanding of team structure for accurate assignment of customer cases.
Proactively identifies and troubleshoots payroll issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution.
Analyzing multiple payroll audits during processing to ensure accuracy and validity.
Correspondence with managers and leaders to confirm accuracy of employee time / absence entry.
Manage, process and reconcile mass upload files for all pay frequencies.
Support inquires resolution within PSS service level agreement.
Escalates requests to the appropriate resources as necessary.
Monitor data flows to / from Workday to Vendor for accuracy
Ensure integrations are processed timely and resolve any errors ensuring accurately processed
Proactively identifies and troubleshoots issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution
Analisis and controls for payroll processes, accruals and employer obligations for all LATAM countries.
Execute ICFR controls defined in the accounting scope.
Requirements :
Fluent in English is required
Previous experience in payroll / personnel administration projects as required.
Knowledge of payroll cycle and processes (garnishments, payroll inputs, pay calendar, etc)
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
Good communication, organizational and prioritization skills
Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, v-lookup, etc.)
Experience in a shared service center, in a payroll services environment.
Proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple, competing priorities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
