As Amazon continues to grow rapidly worldwide, HR Services is driving to redesign our processes and tools for service globalization and infinite scalability.

These efforts need expertise in specific areas such as change and project management. HR Shared Services is looking for a Regional Change Manager (ideally with HR experience) to join the Workday team in San Jose.

In this role, you will collaborate with Employee Services Global Change leader in Seattle, Project Managers and Regional Change Managers in across the globe to define and implement change management, learning and communication strategies for the global roll out of Workday, Human Capital Management system in Amazon.

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with excellent communication skills who has lead global change across a large organization, has ability to influence others and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include :

1. Change Management

  • Apply change management methodology and best practices to ensure successful execution of the change connected with the Workday implementation
  • Lead the development and execution of regional change management plan in support of global Employee Services change plan
  • Create change management deliverables, stakeholder assessment, change impact analysis, communication plan, learning plan, etc.
  • Ensure project members and stakeholders understand change management objectives and work together towards a common goal
  • Communicate change management expectations to project members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Demonstrate strong judgement, independent thinking and creative approach to overcome obstacles and issues during change execution
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • 2. Customer Experience & Communication Delivery

  • Provide an enhanced customer experience by guiding customers through the change process and anticipating their needs and concerns
  • Effectively communicate to customers using the right communication channels
  • Actively manage stakeholders’ expectations
  • Create and monitor tangible success metrics for the change impact and stakeholders’ readiness.
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, communication, or a related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in HR
  • Previous experience with large-scale project management with proven effective change management
  • Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of change
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills - able to interface with all levels of the organizations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Change management certification desired
  • PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, SAP, or Workday experience is a plus
  • Expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other OE tools
