Neustar Technologies is looking for technologists experienced in delivering enterprise services to customers. These services are built on a wide variety of technology platforms that require candidates to have diverse backgrounds and be able to quickly assimilate new technologies.
Candidates must have a history of operating and supporting geographically diverse and highly available (99.99%+) platforms with limited or no maintenance windows.
Neustar Systems Engineers are the backbone of our DevOps practice. They have experience in software development, database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), network administration and Linux system administration.
All of our engineers support multiple services and technologies, focusing on automating and improving support functions through automation, instrumentation and operational best practices.
Neustar Systems Engineers have end-to-end ownership of services and must also be able to support full stack troubleshooting.
An applicant must be able to login to a host they have never operated before, investigate the processes and configurations on that host, identify issues with the processes and resolve those issues.
Our engineers will participate in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation supporting multiple services. Issues that the Tier 1 organization is unable to resolve will be escalated to the Systems Engineers for triage and resolution.
