The Audience Consultant position is a client-facing role requiring both technical and business / marketing knowledge and skills, and he / she will be responsible for realizing the full potential of the Data Management Platform (DMP).
The key contribution of the role is to create a better connection and engagement between the brand and consumers using data from different sources.
Audience Consultant works together with various teams (example : eCom, Analytics, CRM, Marketing) to identify / create / manage key audiences, engagement strategies, measurements, and develop insights that will deliver growth in acquisition and retention through the online marketing channels.
Audience Consultant understands directions and value proposition of various platform within DMP market landscape ultimately providing partnership to the client in developing marketing infinity loop life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities :
Work with clients to strategize and drive their audience creation and activation effort and extract business value from DMP
Help identify and create / optimize custom segments to be used by a range of teams
Help client implement the solution and applications, perform quality checks to ensure that the implementation work has been completed successfully, and diagnose and solve technical issues when they arise
Provide technical and business consulting to aid the adoption of DMP within client organizations, with a strong focus on business outcomes
Deliver best practices, learnings and business & technical consulting where needed
Manage customer expectations appropriately and keep projects on schedule and within scope
Strive to continuously improve the DMP, coordinating data across a range of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources
Analyze performance of campaigns and sharing insights with the wider organization
Maintaining taxonomy and classifying behaviors
Analysis of audience data to find new interesting segments
Work together with media agencies, ensuring full adoption on their end
Manage daily / weekly / monthly reporting for overall campaign performance as well as one-off requests
Leverage channel data and industry developments to identify and execute tests, enhance reporting, and identify key levers and opportunities to implement optimization to improve performance
