Interim Controller
Our client, a retail analytics platform is looking for an Interim Controller to support their accounting team while their controller is on leave.
This role can be 100% remote, with preference to PST working hours, and will have a duration of 4-6 months. This role will supervise a team of 2 and will report to their VP of Finance
Responsibilities
Manage the general accounting function including the 10 day monthly close process
Record and review journal entries in NetSuite and prepare and review reconciliations in FloQast
Preparing and reviewing monthly fluctuation analyses for the balance sheet and P&L
Manage the general accounting and revenue accounting team which includes a Senior Revenue Accounting Manager and a GL accountant
Requirements
Experience leading the monthly GL close process at a small to mid-sized venture-backed company
5+ years of management experience
Understanding of ASC 606 and revenue accounting experience, required
SaaS company experience, a plus
NetSuite experience, strongly preferred
