The Data Entry Clerk will perform tasks that will helpimprove the quote and order service levels This is an entry level position thatrequires a balance of attention to details and speed.

Primary functions includedata entry and processing of quotes, orders, and related activities andrequests.

Responsibilities

  • Receiveand process customer request for quote and orders.
  • Using theestablished standards, check that all information supplied by the customer iscorrect and complete to ensure the customer receives the product they need andat the time they need it.
  • Accuratelyupload, enter, and book order in business systems. For quotes, enter and sendto engineering team.
  • ProcessInterco Purchases to factories and keep dates updated in system.
  • Maintainupdated customer information in business systems and other databases.Collect and save needed documentation toensure compliance with record retention and documentation procedures.
  • Assistother customer care personnel with correction of order and quote entry errors.
  • Understandand consistently apply commercial policies and business practices related toquote and order entry process.
  • Ensurecompliance with import / export, contract and government requirements. Screenorders and quotes for compliance with the business unit Terms and Conditions,Agreements and standards.
  • Performother duties as required.
  • Requirements

  • Education : High School diploma is required.
  • Experience : 0 to 1 Year of Customer service, data entry experience, or other relatedexperience.
  • Experienceas a member of a fast paced, customer-centric company where there was a spiritof teamwork between peers, a direct sales force and representative sellingorganizations, preferred.
  • Goodwritten and oral communication skills (English - at least able to communicate)
  • Solidprioritizing and organizational skills along with being a self-starter.
  • Solidkeyboard skills and a strong proficiency for using Windows & MS Officeapplications is a must.
  • Willingto work on flexible shift schedule based on business needs.
  • The initial requirement is to Work in an Schedule to SupportLatin America entities limited to that, so this could represent a work schedulefrom 6am to 3pm, or 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm.
