Sales Operations Specialist - NBC Bay Area

The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for working in coordination across sales, promotion, and production teams to support NBC Local traffic across Linear and Digital ad campaigns.

Essential Functions

Including, not limited to :

  • Entering house numbers. Ensuring accuracy of weekend schedule provided by programming.
  • Reviewing log for client and product separation and rearranging breaks where necessary to achieve this.
  • Confirming internal production calendar for segments requiring special attention and contacting production if there are discrepancies.
  • Entering segment times for locally produced programs.
  • Entering alternate schedules as necessary for live sporting events, and filling with commercial content.
  • Responsible for format and program changes for the digital station (COZI), in addition to the standard log duties and oversight.
  • Finalize all logs and submitting to the HUB.
  • Generating log reports for News and management teams.
  • Qualifications / Requirements


  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software :
  • Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, timeline and
  • presentation software

  • Wide Orbit experience preferred
  • Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced
  • environment
