The Opportunity

The Digital Experience partnership team is seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships for the Content & Commerce category.

This role will be responsible for a distributed global team that defines partner strategies, evaluates, and establishes strategic partnerships with technology partners.

These relationships span from broad ecosystem coverage to fill product gaps all the way up to our largest commercial technology partnerships with the biggest brands in the world! The position will report to the Senior Director of Content & Commerce Partnerships and Commerce Services GTM whose team drives new partnerships and execution across strategic commerce partnerships.

What you'll Do

Build and deliver new partnership strategies for the Content & Commerce segment of Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source ecosystems

Manage a team of global strategic partnership professionals to evaluate and establish new partnerships

Develop innovative partnerships that deliver customer, merchant and partner value and accelerate Adobe Experience Cloud market leadership through product extension, new routes to market or direct partner monetization

Structure and negotiate deals, including business case and deal modeling, to support robust and meaningful Content & Commerce partnerships

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to secure alignment around strategic goals

Participate in strategy and roadmap discussions to provide partnership input and assessment of long-term technology trends in the marketplace

Up to 30% travel

What you need to succeed

MBA preferred, B.A. / B.S. required, minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in roles such as business development, market development, or strategic partnerships

Possess a detailed knowledge of developing strategic technology relationships and associated agreements and have a successful track record evaluating and closing large, complex and lasting contractual agreements

Ability to optimally communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally)

Have a strong background in marketing and commerce technologies and partnerships

Independent, self-starter with proven track record of success in uncertain environments and constantly evolving / emerging markets in real time

Comfortable being in an environment requiring personal intuition and responsibility, where erroneous decisions and not meeting deadlines will have a serious impact on the overall success of projects
