Position at Havas Health & You ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Test software cross platform (Web, Mobile, Tablet)
Testing and validation of data for front-end and back-end
Analyze and identify software defects
Report testing results in detail using bug tracking tools
Track and monitor defects throughout development cycle
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and requirement matrices
Work closely with Engineers and Project Managers
Encourage and maintain standards and process for workflow efficiency
Support application deployments
REQUIREMENTS
2-4 years of testing experience
Minimum 2 years testing digital advertising : HTML5 banners, in particular
Thorough understanding of responsive web design and testing
Strong familiarity with all current browsers, devices, and OS : iOS, Android,
Windows, OSX, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, IE
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiar with testing tools such as Charles / Fiddler, browser dev tools, Litmus, etc.
Experience with JIRA, Fogbugs or other defect tracking utility is mandatory
Understand testing for ADA compliance
Candidate should be able to describe their testing methodology and approach to QA
Extensive experience testing on mobile platforms; tablet and phone
Able to learn and contribute to ideas about new testing tools and methodologies
Strong attention to detail
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Understand the software development cycle
Own and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to adjust and re-prioritize projects and goals on the fly
Effectively communicate with team both written and orally
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Computer Science background a plus
Agency experience a plus
Candidates must have experience in a digital agency, online marketing, or online retail to be considered for the position.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.
Applicant must be logical and methodical and be able to articulate QA testing plans to all members of their project teams.
