The challenge

The AEM Delivery Manager is a leadership role responsible for driving Adobe’s AEM Consulting business in the Americas, with a focus on a defining and delivering the best of breed consulting services in implementing AEM solutions.

You will oversee a team of consultants to ensure excellence in service delivery across consulting engagements and throughout customer lifecycles.

You will set a high standard for excellence in professional services, and lead your team in continual improvements. A critical responsibility is to drive the continuous innovation and process improvement to help our customers maximize the return in their investment in AEM and deliver with quality and consistency.

You will recruit and develop a team of best in class consultants and manage performance against financial targets, and contribute to client success and satisfaction through direct client engagement and relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Recruit, manage, mentor and professionally develop a team of individual contributors responsible for delivery of best-in-class consulting engagements
  • Collaborate with License and Consulting Sales colleagues to position Adobe Consulting for success
  • Drive creation of compelling and innovative service offerings that leverage a blend of onshore, offshore, and partner expertise for optimal impact
  • Define delivery model and methodology to ensure client success and satisfaction while achieving Adobe’s business goals
  • Cultivate and maintain strong executive relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert input to client proposals and contracts to ensure commitments and expectations are well defined and managed
  • Manage team performance to meet and exceed targets for revenue, margin, and growth
  • Proactively foster collaboration with Engineering and Product Management to facilitate knowledge exchange and provide critical field feedback on solution strategy and development
  • As a senior Consulting leader, develop and drive strategic initiatives across multi-solution Consulting teams
  • Oversee timely and accurate completion of team operational functions including time entry, expense management, revenue forecasting, and reporting
  • Lead and inspire team with positivity and optimism, creating a culture of high expectations and achievement
  • What you need to succeed

  • Executive leadership skills including the ability to develop, influence and motivate a diverse team to maximize results
  • Practitioner level experience in translating clients’ business requirements into solutions and effectively positioning solution value
  • Ability to effectively apply multiple levers to drive optimal revenue and margin performance
  • Demonstrated proficiency in team management
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading professional services teams, experience within software vendors strongly preferred
  • Ability to interact and communicate for impact with all levels of an organization both internally and externally, including business and technical
  • Confident ability to effectively lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated strength in EQ (emotional intelligence)
  • Strong client service orientation; demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with client stakeholders resulting in high client satisfaction
  • Expert level experience in negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more aspects of Digital Marketing required : content management, Web analytics, targeting and optimization, digital asset management, search, cross-channel campaign management and related industry best practices
  • Experience with P&L management required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Masters Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science / IT or related fields preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
