Location / Division Specific Information*Lagunilla, Costa Rica*How will you make an impact?*Finance Tech Enablement team is an exciting and evolving organization that provides the required structure, governance, and skills to implement technology solutions such as Robotic Process Automation, Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence to enable business transformation.
The team is focused on partnering with the business and digital technology teams to drive standardization, simplification, and productivity gains across the Thermo Fisher Scientific Finance organization.
The Manager, Process Automation engineer is responsible for proactively engaging with business leaders and subject matter experts to prepare Finance teams for new digital transformation projects by managing process change and rollout of solutions developed by the Finance Tech Enablement team.
You will use your finance and technology expertise to establish yourself as a credible expert in recommending, influencing, and facilitating the adoption of process automation solutions to drive global initiatives and strategies for key technologies such as (RPA, Process Mining, Smart OCR, Process re-engineering).
You will also ensure delivered automations have the desired business outcomes and act as a customer advocate for end users in the full-lifecycle automation and re-engineering development initiatives.*What will you do?*
Understand the larger business goals of Finance Automation and Digitization program initiatives and help Finance teams optimize our solutions to achieve measurable business results* Define, measure, and manage metrics for measuring successful business outcomes of deployed automations and process changes* Understand current state and required steps to transition the organization to new processes facilitated by delivered Automations and re-engineering initiatives* Manage deployment and change management across multiple projects and drive a shared approach and outcomes tracking* Act as an advocate for end users in the full-lifecycle development process by feeding back any requirements or process changes to the delivery team based on lessons learned from automations deployed* Identifies and articulates customer issues and translates them into business requirements and / or data metrics for simple to complex financial business processes* Increase adoption and Automation impact of deployed solutions by focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures* Evangelize Automation solutions by working across functional groups to educate and promote the capabilities and efficiencies that can be achieved through automation.
Provide management support to team members* Proactively engage with finance business experts and cross functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of their business processes and identify and define business problems that can be addressed through Automation* Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
Partner with business stakeholders and technical and operational teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required* Ensure requirements are documented, traceable, and testable through to implementation* Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives* Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectationsRequirements : * Bachelors’ degree in Information Systems / Finance or any other relevant field * Minimum of 4-7 years relevant business experience within financial domain* 2-3 Years hands on experience leading process change management, technology and solution roll-out in large enterprise scale organizations* Leading solution deployment and process reengineering workshops with business stakeholders* Demonstrated ability to analyze and work through complex business problems* Experience in technology improvements and understanding of business process reengineering and the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)* Experience managing multiple concurrent complex multi-partner, inter-related initiatives that are transformative in nature* Change management and stakeholder management experience in dealing with multi-year transformation programs*Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to quickly learn and analyze the requirement, terms and propose a viable solution* Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and / or related business process excellence training is a plus* Credible change agent with demonstrated initiative, facilitation & interpersonal skills;
exhibits confidence; proven ability to work well with & influence all levels of stakeholders.* High level general management skills, including leading, negotiating, communicating and team building* Proven ability to lead;
demonstrated abilities to deliver effective presentations and educate at all levels of the organization* Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.
