We are looking for a talented Senior Manager of Analytics in our fast-paced, data-driven organization. You will lead a global team that is responsible for producing and maintaining multiple types of self-service Business Intelligence dashboards, ad-hoc and KPI reporting, and machine learning pipelines and models.

Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
Oversee the data / report requests process : tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
Collaborate cross-company to standardize data definitions, data sources, BI techniques, and documentation for repeatable and consistent usage.
Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
Maintaining familiarity with key structured data sources in our enterprise data hub
Working with users to continually refine their usage and understanding of reporting outputs as well as their overarching user stories
Thinking Critically : You’ll be developing actionable insights that will power key business strategies. You’re not just building dashboards to spec, but thinking about how to best answer questions posed.
New approaches and insights are always welcome!
Storytelling : Documenting and communicating clearly about your work outputs and their implications (verbal and written)
Technical contributions may also be required, including but not limited to usage of Tableau for creation, and maintenance of critical self-service business intelligence and dashboards, writing SQL to power Tableau dashboards or ad-hoc data requests, and performing peer-reviews of another’s outputs for accuracy
To be successful in this role, we need someone who has these skills :
SQL : Advanced understanding of relational databases, and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with our data, schemas and environments to craft complex + performant SQL queries.
These will power both ad-hoc requests and Tableau visualizations
Tableau Desktop / Tableau Creator : Skilled in creating dashboards and stories in an enterprise environment, and also maintaining or troubleshooting existing Tableau resources and their custom SQL or published extracts
Machine learning and advanced analytics : Have working knowledge of these areas to provide guidance to both the managed team, and external stakeholders within the business
Competency in related technologies such as : Python / scripting languages, common and emerging data science and scientific computing toolsets / libraries, collaborative development environment(s), GitHub, and Excel or Google Sheets
Strong interpersonal skills, including the knack for translating customer business needs and user stories into solid requirements
3-5 years management or leadership experience
5+ years relevant experience or education in a Reporting, Business Intelligence or Analytics
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM data schemas
Tableau Desktop Certified Professional’ or Tableau Desktop Certified Associate’ certifications are a plus
Implementation / development experience with Machine Learning models and advanced analytics for statistically significant data driven business decisions are a plus
