The Corporate Communications Specialist will be responsible forelevating the voice of the organization and the profile of the region.
This person will be in charge for the communications strategy and managementof the internal and external communication channels.
Part of the responsibilities include collaboration and support to SeniorManagement and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in the area and workwith other communication specialists across multiple businesses and geographieson the development and delivery of content to expand our audience beyond localscope.
Create communication strategies for the company in collaboration with Senior Management, and employee groups to develop successful initiatives aligned with the organization
Measures the effectiveness of communications through internal surveys and other measurement methods. Proposes appropriate changes and adjustments to improve communications effectiveness.
Provides input and expertise to management in the identification of areas of need and approaches to connect with people, with the primary goal of fostering employee engagement, team development and sense of belonging.
Develops and executes ideas for internal company communications with certain timeframe constraints.
Coordinates external and internal communications flow
Researches, recommends and masters a diversity of communication channels and platforms according to the goals and requirements of strategies and plans.
Organizes initiatives and plan events or press conferences
Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
Develops and delivers content to implement strategies, plans and programs, through the applicable channels, platforms and media.
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, technical writing, advertising, publishing, marketing or applicable field.
Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Advanced knowledge of the English and Spanish languages, both verbal and written.
Proven experience of working in multinational environments, across regions and cultures
Strong experience in content creation and editing.
General knowledge of content design concepts and principles. Knowledge of content delivery platforms and channels, such as Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Social Media, etc.
Basic ability to create and combine graphics elements and visual resources in support of content delivery. Basic experience of graphics design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening.
