The Strategic Analytics and Insights, Mobile Engagement & Retention is at the intersection between Business, Analytics, and Technology.
This person will enjoy working with rich data sets, groundbreaking technology, and the ability to see insights then turn them into actions or data products.
Our team is passionate about using the data to understand customers, inform strategy, measure progress toward goals and uncover new opportunities.
This role will drive analysis across various strategic projects to improve engagement & retention and end-to-end customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have intensive experience in the mobile business, outstanding quantitative analysis & technical skills, superb communication, and can use analytics to drive / influence business decision-making.
What you will do :
Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data modeling, and other data science approaches to gain deep insights into customers' behaviors / journey across surfaces, short and long-term trends.
Present impactful recommendations to improve engagement & retention in our mobile funnel and elevate Adobe's product experience.
Own and drive important metrics focused on Mobile engagement and retention. Understand the root causes of changes in metrics, designing and evaluating experiments, forecasts, and sets the business goals
Be a thought partner to the Mobile Growth, PM, PMM, and other partners and influence decisions through the storytelling of recommendations, analysis, and experiment results.
Partner with various engagement, retention, product, and marketing teams on measurement strategy and data requirements
Drive the integration of predictive LTV, CAC, churn, engagement scores, customer segmentation, attribution model into the cohesive management system
Build and automate analyses and authoring pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework and ensure data quality
Partner with data engineer and software engineer to build reliable data sets, reports, a dashboard to monitor and analyze critical matrices.
What is needed to succeed!
Bachelors or master’s in quantitative fields, e.g., Computer Science, Math / Statistics, Economics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience. MBA is a plus
3+ years hands-on experience driving engagement & retention for mobile app, subscription products
3-5+ years of direct experience in an analytics or data science role
Proven experience using the quantitative analysis / statistical modeling on data sets to tackle intricate business problems
Phenomenal at telling stories with data and communicating it to partners at all levels to influence critical decision making
Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages (Hive / Hadoop preferred)
Understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, statistical inference, regressions)
Experience with statistics in SaaS or Subscription Business model environment, direct experience crafting and executing A / B tests.
Development experience in Python or other programming languages
Experience in Data Visualization tools, preferably, Tableau and Power BI
Experience with third-party mobile analytics platforms / tools (e.g., Branch, App Annie, Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console, etc.)
