This Techno-Functional role focuses on providing and driving strategic solutions within marketing automation & operations in areas such as demand / lead generation, events, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and campaign management.
Your mission will be to bridge the gap between key business objectives and technical capabilities and to provide fully integrated solutions that tackle real world business problems.
You will establish a collaborative relationship with the enterprise marketing business to support their strategic priorities.
The Business Solution Analyst is a key driver in the analysis, design, and delivery of major software implementations and features.
This is a critical partnership role that requires working closely with product owners to understand business challenges and design solutions that enable business operations.
The analyst will take the lead in defining and driving the capabilities that a software solution must perform in support of the business needs.
To be successful in this role, you must be proficient with technology and should have had hands-on experience using Marketing Automation and CRM tools.
What you'll Do
Partner with Marketing leaders to understand challenges.
Work with multiple teams (Product owner, architects, engineers and testers) to design scalable solutions that meet business needs.
Present solution design at the technical review forum (Internal solution review board) and obtain design approval as needed.
Translate detailed functional designs into Jira user stories with clear acceptance criteria agreed upon by all teams.
Work with product owners to prioritize stories in the scrum team backlog.
Work with assigned scrum team throughout the sprint cycle(s) as needed to implement designed solutions.
Provide functional expertise for critical issues that occur in production as needed.
Ensure new features that are implemented in production are documented in the internal knowledge site.
Work with solution analysts, business users, engineers, QA, and IT managers daily to support business operations as needed.
What you need to succeed
10+ years hands-on experience as an analyst or similar role in large enterprises.
Practical knowledge of B2B marketing business processes and applications that support enterprise and commercial selling motions (Marketo, Salesforce CRM, Dynamics CRM, and complex integrations)
Experience designing solutions using software applications such as Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or Marketo is preferred.
Ability to work as part of a geographically distributed team across North America and India.
Excellent written and spoken communications skills
BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Business or related field
Microsoft Dynamics Certification is highly preferred.
