Bacardi Servicios Corporativas, SA (Bacardi), Bacardi’s global shared services center based in San Jose, Costa Rica, is looking for high performing individuals who are success driven and interested in a leadership position within the organization.
The Tax Analyst position is an important role to ensure the tax compliance of the company and the role will be responsible for the preparation of tax returns and other tax compliance external and internal processes for the company in Latin America.
The tax analyst should become knowledgeable in local compliance requirements and filing requirements, should prepare the tax returns or the information required to prepare the returns as per local requirements and make sure those returns and obligations are filed timely and accurately.
Execution of the migration of the tax filings work and internal / local tax processes from another team member or local market.
Extraction and review of data from SAP for the preparation of the local fillings.
Coordinate the information flow from and to the local finance teams and the local advisors as applicable.
Timely and accurate filing of the tax filings-returns before the Tax Authorities.
Coordination and approval of the tax payments derived from the tax filings thresholds.
Coordination with GBS of any information required for the filings and ensuring that the information received from GBS is correct for the purpose of the filings and returns.
Work with the GBS in case information needs to be corrected or processes re-designed as necessary.
Review of the reconciliations of the tax accounts on a monthly and yearly basis.
Preparation / review of the Corporate Income Tax provision and complete the tax worksheets for the purpose of Bermuda consolidation.
Documentation, implementation and improvement of processes and flows of information for the purpose of generating the tax filings tax returns.
Keep updated with regards to changes in the law or internally that impact the filings-returns.
Collaborate in the implementation of tax law changes and internal or external audits.
The above to be executed for LAC (Latin American and Caribbean) countries.
