    The Division Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) is Comet’s largest division and a global leader in developing and producing high-performance Vacuum Capacitors, RF Matches and RF Generators for the semiconductor industry.

    What will you do?

  • Own primary responsibility for sales growth of all Comet Plasma Control Technology (PCT) products to assigned account(s).
  • Proactively drive development, maintenance, and execution of Key Account strategy to optimize new design wins and time-to-volume for Projects.
  • Manage and Direct Applications Engineering resources to enable successful project completion and product performance results.
  • Drive issuance of quotations for new Projects consistent with COMET quote process to achieve gross profit margin targets.
  • Thoroughly update monthly forecasts, monitor Customer order trends, backlog integrity and open order reporting.
  • Work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other functional groups to monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery (OTD), Customer quality metrics and other Customer satisfaction indicators.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) status at least monthly for assigned account(s) and take escalation actions when needed.
  • Who are we looking for?

  • B.S. or M.S. or equivalent in technical or scientific discipline (Engineering preferred).
  • Background in High Power RF (radio frequency) technology strongly preferred, ideally with Impedance Matching networks and RF Generators in semiconductor, solar, LCD or LED manufacturing equipment.
  • Background in plasma processing equipment / processes a strong plus.
  • Experience working in complex / multi-disciplinary environment, e.g. Semiconductor, Flat-panel display or Thin-film solar industry.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a Sales or Key Account management role at a high-tech OEM company.
  • Ability and appetite to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at assigned account(s).
  • Comfortable dealing with demanding customers in technical and non-technical situations.
  • Self-starting, self-reliant, with strong ability to track and follow through on assigned actions and Customer requests.
  • Strong in providing leadership to employees and holding them accountable for their performance.
  • Comfortable in non-structured environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking abilities and desire to learn new tools and methods.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix management environment and accomplish goals through cooperation and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent team player with ability to keep cross-functional teams focused on strategy and goals.
  • Excellent organization, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Ability to work and adapt under pressure.
  • Good communication skills to connect to Customers and with internal Comet departments.
  • Digital affinity and solid experience with MS Office, SAP and data analytics (SAC preferred)
  • Leadership experience in an international and matrix environment, able to influence at all levels
  • Customer oriented with a collaborative, can-do and proactive mindset
