The CommunicationsManager will develop and align the internal and external communication strategyand take the lead for the communications within a specific group to supportemployee engagement and drive business growth.

In this role, you'll work closelywith business leaders and other internal / external partners around the world.You'll collaborate with the global communication teams, focusing on internalteam engagement within our broader team to drive success.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and drive a function communications strategy in alignment with the global group communications strategy, to drive effective internal and external communications

Advise leadership on effective communications with employees and other critical stakeholders internally and externally

Drive collaboration between integrated teams from various communications practices to build and implement the strategy

Lead, coordinate and execute internal communication campaigns from a content perspective across multiple channels to drive employee engagement and alignment around key business priorities

Utilize Global Communications common tools, templates and processes to facilitate integrated communications across Cargill

Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism

Advanced English speaking and writing capabilities

6+ years of related work experience

Extensive experience with a variety of communications strategies used within a global, matrixed organization

Good understanding of communications channels and content development for those channels

Understanding and experience with AP Style

Experience developing integrated communications plans for internal and external audiences

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

Public relations agency or journalism experience

Portuguese speaking and writing capabilities

Working in a matrixed environment

Strong business acumen to advise leadership and effectively partner with marketing and sales teams

Experience working in a global company

Experience in or understanding of finance

Ability to motivate and guide employees who report indirectly

Ability to translate complicated messaging into easily understood language

Familiarity with food and nutrition topics and issues
