Internal Transfer Partner - Contract Opportunity
Work with a global team to help support the Internal Transfer Program, which is a strong hiring resource for VMware! This global team helps all employees understand the transfer process & policy, while ensuring that our most valuable resource, our people, are provided ample opportunities to expand and grow their careers inside VMware! The Internal Transfer Partner will build relationships with the Talent Acquisition team and the internal employees by creating a strong communication bridge.
The specialist will provide exceptional customer service while answering inquiries on program details, educating internal staff on compensation, transfer policy and eligibility guidelines, and doing data entry into our applicant tracking system to assist with processing offers for VMware.
This opportunity is for someone that has a positive attitude, works well with others, excels in high volume situations, and can deal well with ambiguity.
Knowledge and Abilities
Understanding of the internal transfer process - you know about internal transfers and opportunities
Understanding of compensation discussions a plus - you are great at advising on compensation and always work to provide equitable guidance
Experience with offer process, including negotiations and offer creation
Ability to determine informational needs and to collect and analyze information, highly focused on compensation
Demonstrated professional knowledge and operational expertise within designated area of program focus
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders - you are a people person and love to help
Skill in examining and evaluating operations and developing and / or re-engineering operating strategies, systems, and procedures
Strong reading comprehension, and writing skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
Manage transfer inquiries, resolve issues, and partner with internal employees, hiring managers and HR partners on a daily basis
Work with stakeholders to determine transfer timeframe, compensation, and see that all parties are aligned
Liaise with immigration, relocation, and other parties to determine if action is needed for transfers
Act as primary resource for employees, hiring managers, recruiters and stakeholders on all aspects of the transfer process
Identify and escalate issues or areas of concern and develop and implement strategies to address those issues or areas of concern
Manage transfer program by determining eligibility, processing, and notifying recipients
Evangelize our transfer program, as well as implement effective networking skills
Be able to weigh-in on and evaluate compensation decisions
Use discretion to maintain high level of confidentiality
Comprehensively respond to issues, projects, and inquiries with a can do attitude and in a timely manner
You must be able to work quickly and efficiently
Be a guide on the transfer process
Handle all communication with diplomacy and tact
Advise on specific transfer challenges
This role is fully remote and can be done anywhere in Costa Rica.
