On this role the candidate will support post-silicon validation engineers, working directly on High Speed IOs hardware and software validation in the Electrical Lab as well as automation projects, therefore good knowledge in both hardware and software is required.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, and / or work experience.
Must be pursuing a degree (bachelor or Lic.) in Computer, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
At least 50% of bachelor courses approved.
Intermediate English communication skills (written & oral).
6+ month experience programming and scripting.
6+ month experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel : Pivot tables, mathematical functions).
Be enrolled in at least 3 courses (Bachelor’s degree).
Maintain a minimum of 80% GPA.
Availability to work at least hours per week.
Permit to legally work in Costa Rica.
6+ month experience on hardware and software troubleshooting and setup (BIOS, Firmware).
6+ month experience programming and scripting in Python.
6+ month experience managing data bases.
6+ month experience using macros in excel.
