Business Summary :
VMware’s energizing, rapidly growing environment, will require a candidate with Change Management experience with flexibility to own and to participate from a strategic and tactical standpoint.
Our Business Change Manager will primarily be responsible for deliverables as part of Change Management work stream(s) in a variety of projects.
This individual will collaborate with key business customers, IT teams, and Data teams to deliver key transformation and automation projects to support VMware’s growing business.
Job Role and Responsibility :
Strategic planning and tactical execution of projects - Organize, coordinate, and manage resources, time, and people to achieve project goals and objectives
Build strong working relationships with senior business sponsors to foster user adoption and deliver value
Develop an innovation mindset with the focus on continuous improvement
Adopt defined processes, quality standards, and best practices to manage projects; identify ways to streamline and improve efficiency of work and enable continuous improvements.
Identify risk areas associated with project deliverable, or team and develop metrics to monitor the risks and report trends.
Team effectively with others to meet goals and satisfy project objectives; gets buy-in of stakeholders by developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners
Seek help within organization to consider appropriate data, intuition, ideas, and experience to make decisions and manage projects
Adoption, Change Management, Communication, and Training Needs Analysis - Interview Key Project Stakeholders and Project Management to determine Adoption metrics and measurements, Training timeline and deliverables, and to plan the Change Management timeline and deliverables, including approval mechanisms
Develop, create, and maintain training documents - including cheat sheets, presentations, and training scripts interviewing appropriate project members to determine process inputs for training materials in English.
Participate in testing cycles to better understand deployment deliverables and create training materials. Provide User Acceptance Training (UAT) Training as a testing ground for end user training.
Deliver End User training, managing all Training logistics, including facilities scheduling, requesting and tracking Super User / Project Team participation, execution, and follow up surveys in English
Develop and create timelines and written Communications to project stakeholders, end users, and other project participants in English
Provide advanced, on-going, new hire, and ad hoc training as requested on supported applications. Maintain and update all documentation such as cheat sheets, training scripts, and training presentations in English
Coordinate and produce diverse launching events both locally and remotely, in collaboration with various teams within the Company
Required Skills :
5+ years’ experience in Change Management
Process Excellence training
Experience working cross-culturally, internationally, across multiple time-zones
Project Management and SDLC lifecycle experience, waterfall and agile methodologies is desirable
Demonstrate good broad working knowledge of support organizations and culture
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines and deliverables
Has the ability to work in both consultation and cooperation mode to engage with the stakeholders.
Is pro-active and is learning orientated in order to get to tangible issue-based results. Shares recommendations.
Outgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationships
Effective communication skills with all levels of management
Proficient English speaker and writer
Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and / or processes
Ability to think strategically
BS / BA degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills :
Prosci, ADKAR, or related change management training is desirable
Conflict resolution and negotiations skills to resolve disagreements quickly and effectively, bringing a problem-solving attitude to conflicting approaches and priorities involving others
Have a fair understanding of MS- Excel, MS- PowerPoint and related business enabling software
Have a fair understanding of Adobe Captivate and / or other eLearning development software
