You’ll be part of the Decision Sciences team responsible for managing fraud losses while optimizing revenue opportunities for Western Union digital transactions and mentoring junior decision scientists.
You will be the strategic organizational leader driving our future direction on Risk Analytics and Modeling in collaboration with the Product Management Team and Risk Engineering Team.
Representing the Decision Sciences team, you’ll make a difference by conducting ad-hoc / exploratory analysis and providing accurate results in response to internal and external requests.
You will also be the Champion / Challenger test practices, including post-implementation monitoring.To succeed in such a pivotal role, you’ll have a Data Scientist degree or at in a similar field, and 5+ years of experience in Fraud and Risk across payment, e-commerce, digital or financial services industries.
It’s advantageous to have a working knowledge of statistical analysis tools like R, SQL and Python, and an advanced understanding of Excel.
Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
