Role Proficiency :

Acts with guidance and support to ensure smooth operations of day-to-day transactions in a semiconductor product development lab

Outcomes :

  • Assist in implementation of 6S process in lab management
  • Assist in all lab audits internal and external) to ensure process compliance
  • Enable basic lab setup including host and network
  • Perform low complexity SMD level rework
  • Perform low complexity board setup.
  • Assist in lab staging and scrapping tasks
  • Assist in lab inventory handling
  • Assist in handling shipments using shipment management tool
  • Ensure smooth operations of lab inventory day-to-day transactions.
  • Enable lab item transfer from location to location to enable lab operations
  • Deliver daily tasks related to lab operations as per directions provided
  • Adhere to safety guideline of lab (Chemical Electrical Fire and General Safety Guidelines)
  • Practice FAST Goals; seek and accept feedback
  • Measures of Outcomes :

  • Adherence to lab process and standards (lab standards)
  • Adherence to schedule and timelines
  • Adhere to SLAs where applicable
  • Reduction of reoccurrence of handling error based on SLA
  • Completion of all mandatory training requirements

  • Support information governance activities and audit preparations.

  • Set up basic lab for host and network

  • Create documentation for one's work
  • Inventory Management :

  • Enable day -to-day transactions
  • Count materials
  • equipment in stock and update in documents

  • Report discrepancies between physical counts versus computer / data records
  • Manage knowledge :

  • Consume and contribute to lab related documents
  • share point and client universities.

  • Report status of tasks assigned
  • Compliance to lab related reporting standards and process

  • Ability to perform tasks in the customer or target lab environments

  • Basic understanding of hardware including desktop handheld computers Mother Boards and peripherals

    Roles & Responsibilities

  • Keep track of all items in inventory for any given project.
  • Distribute items as per project requirement.
  • Keep up to date records of current inventory location.
  • Support project team with system setup & build systems based on requirement.
  • The responsibilities may vary based on requirement and / or skillset attained on the job and should be ready to move between projects.
  • Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory handling and management.
  • Good collaboration and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple project's needs.
  • Knowledge of PC systems and experience of building systems.
  • Proficient with office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift 25 to 40 lbs of weight.
