Who we are looking for :
Based in San José Costa Rica the Strategic Planner will be working with the brand strategy for multiple brands. He / She will have oversight of all the different disciplines on the account : particularly advertising and brand execution.
The incumbent will be required to have oversight and give direction to a team of junior and mid-level planners, working on different business units and in different geographies.
This person will be a strategic cog in the leadership team, and share long-term responsibility for managing and growing business.
He / She must maintain and acute commitment and investment in both class-leading Shopper research and exceptional creative standards.
What you’ll do :
Define Work directly with clients at the outset of an assignment to define (or redefine) the right opportunity and the right problem to solve.
Present directly to clients, gaining their trust by telling a concise and compelling story to explain our strategies and approach.
Uncover Provide analysis and artifacts to help devise world-class insights that contribute to thoughtful and potentially disruptive strategies.
Constantly separate signals from noise in a large quantity of information and rapidly distill it for key stakeholders and creators.
Share perspectives and recommendations clearly and persuasively (both orally and in written form), demonstrating a strong storytelling capability.
Innovate Develop deliverables such as research plans and analysis, experience briefs, customer journeys, roadmaps, and participating in workshops.
You’ll provide strategic inputs throughout the creation of the ideal customer experience from vision and conception to launch and optimization.
Collaborate You’ll serve as a subject-matter expert in all things experience strategy and help lead both clients and peers alike to help think about opportunities that solve business challenges, while meeting brand and customer needs.
You’ll work closely with a multi-disciplinary group of Content Strategists, Designers, Project Managers, Account Teams, and Technologists, demonstrating and inspiring by showing your knowledge of your craft.

What you’ll need :
3-5 years of experience working in digital agency and advertising field.
Advance English level skills required.
Driving the agency’s strategic approach, process and perspective.
Leading and structuring the creative brief and process.
Highly curious nature.
Ability to manage high volumes of information quickly and accurately to see the big picture.
Happily manage demanding projects simultaneously.
Love being hands on as well as directing others.
Self starter with a high level of enthusiasm and positivity.
Comfortable with high pressure, fluid and ambiguous situations.
