This is a fully remote position where the candidate will be responsible for Supply Chain activities for the assigned product portfolio to optimize inventory, minimize cost, and set and achieve customer service goals.
This includes forecasting, capacity planning, execution oversight, monitoring and reporting of results. Provide input for SIOP process for a given business segment in order to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
Leads meetings with key departments such as Demand Planning, Customer Service, Finance, Engineering, Purchasing and Product Development, to develop an accurate and timely master production schedule.
Develops and maintains the master production schedule by combining the sales forecast, network plan, new product launches, backlog, capacity availability and lead time.
Accommodates production schedule requirements generated by regulatory requirements and / or batch characteristics (Country of Origin, Manufacturing Site, Date of Manufacture, etc.)
Manage product phase-outs such that obsolete inventory is minimized.
Leverage Lean or Six Sigma tools for process improvement in order to increase service and optimize inventory.
Review and recommend capacity loading on assigned production lines and forecast.
Provide oversight of manufacturing, inventory deployment and distribution to ensure customer service
Serve as primary contact with manufacturing for planning issues.
Performs root cause analysis of service shortfalls and develops and communicates corrective actions
Complete complex spreadsheet analysis during issue resolution or scenario planning and develop risk analysis and offer recommendations to management.
Prepare and present Executive Level presentations as required.
As part of the S&OP process, leads supply meetings to ensure schedule adherence, service levels and inventory targets are met.
Communicates risks, elevate issues and recommend solutions that require management involvement.
Support the Business Budgeting process annually and provide quarterly updates.
Support and Leads Project Transfers into the Facility
Ensures data integrity in planning systems by identifying and leading efforts to keep shop order and purchase order dates current.
Location : Costa Rica (Global)
Bachelor s degree in Business / Supply Chain / Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
Licenses / Certifications : APIC / Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Advanced Leadership Training desired.
Experience : 5+ years of experience in demand or supply planning, PMO, or other related function.
Prior master planning experience.
Understanding of supply chain management best practices and experience with new product introductions are a plus.
Experience using SAP / Oracle with demonstrated BI capability. Prior experience using Kinaxis a plus
Willingness to develop skills / accreditations within the specific systems used in the S+N supply chain.
Highly organized project and facilitation skills.
