Position PurposeUtilizes general recruitment knowledge to provide candidate sourcing services in the assigned talent segment that is critical to Cargill and difficult to fill in the market.
In collaboration with business / function partners, develop and execute strategies to penetrate the labor market, pipeline candidates, and manage candidate relationships.
Gather and apply industry and market trends, perform proactive candidate sourcing, and interprets metrics to provide analytical consultation to the businesses.

Draws on a general knowledge of the business environment, requirements and strategies to provide input to build the candidate sourcing strategy, establish priorities, and metrics to ensure alignment with delivering business / functional and GHRO goals.
With general oversight builds an understanding of industry and market trends, and how they affect sourcing, attraction, and retention of talent.
With general oversight executes established sourcing plan, techniques and approaches to proactively recruit and build a pipeline of talent through a variety of methods including but not limited to direct candidate approach (cold calling), internet searches (LinkedIn, etc.
lead generation software (Broadlook Technologies), job board searches, industry networking groups and events, diversity resources, referrals and competitor research.
Actively participates as part of projects with businesses / functions regarding their recruitment related initiatives.20%RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT AND BRANDING
Under general supervision, develops and maintains internal / external relationships related to the recruitment process which may include hiring managers, human resource professionals, industry contacts, candidates, etc.
Utilizes general recruitment knowledge and partners with business and HR leadership (e.g. BU Managers, Business HR Managers, Recruiters, etc.
regarding recruiting / sourcing strategies, employment branding, candidate assessment, metrics and analytics, position responsibilities, forecasting, etc.
Draws upon general industry knowledge to provide input to businesses / functions on finding functional talent (best sourcing / recruiting channels and methods), which includes utilizing labor market consultation, competitive intelligence, and selling the Cargill brand.
Manages respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities and ensure a strong positive client and candidate experience.
Serve as a cultural steward and brand ambassador for Cargill by promoting Cargill news, jobs, and values.
Provides general training and direction related to the Talent Recruitment sourcing process or system for HR professionals in the business.

3-5 years of recruiting and / or sourcing experience
Demonstrated business acumen, business partnering skills and results orientation
Previous exposure to proactive sourcing or pipelining candidates
Awareness of industry and labor market trends
Excellent client service skills and ability to build rapport with candidates and clients at all levels
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others both inside and outside the organization
Experience with a recruiting system such as Taleo, Avature, etc.
Experience using social media for recruiting purposes such as LinkedIn, Glass Door, Job Boards, etc.
Experience in data mining and lead generation
Ability to analyze and interpret data to tell a story and make recommendations to improve sourcing and recruiting strategies / methods
Awareness of diversity recruiting strategies
