Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients.

Partner with the best

From pre-sales through to integration and performance, you'll be an end-to-end trusted advisor to customers. You'll act as a gateway to our products and platforms.

Youll be delivering technical solutions and creatively tackling challenges that have a considerable impact to high-profile customers.

As a Security Consultant II, you will be responsible for :

Participating in internal projects to contribute to best practices and improve our methodology and quality of integrations

Ensuring customer success by focusing on best practice, helping develop a long-term web performance and security strategy

Partnering cross-functionally to review and ensure integration efficiency, deliver high quality service and ensure customer engagement

Collaborating with account teams to evaluate customer streaming architecture and deliver the best of class solutions

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will :

Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or its equivalent.

Be well versed in internet technologies like IP networks, DNS and routing, HTTP, TCP or web architecture

Be able to analyze customer's web traffic and demonstrate expertise to optimize the security posture

Show experience of managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully and influencing stakeholders across the teams

Demonstrate web application security experience or Cloud Security Providers

Possess excellent communication skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear and easy to understand manner
