Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document procedures from scratch
  • Revise and update procedures as part of a continuous improvement culture
  • Update procedures according to legislation changes
  • Handles procurement requisitions and keeps track of the open tasks
  • Collaborates with procurement with specialized vendors and assessments
  • Handles seminar planning : coordination of dates, training rooms, services, materials and any other requirement
  • Takes charge of interactions with local department of Trade Compliance for support with technical language and information required during imports / exports
  • Keeps track of the assets of the BU, documents any temporary loan and establishes the necessary records and controls to be prepare for internal audits
  • Comply with mandatory trainings that are essential to a safe work, at customer s and Emerson. Follows all safety and health guidelines given from Emerson and BU
  • Fully document activities and reports on a shared space for the BU
  • Contributes to the order and safety of the laboratory
  • Education

  • Advanced student or Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration or similar
  • Languages : Spanish at a native level, English at a basic level is a plus but not required
  • Specialized knowledge

  • Imports / Exports basic knowledge

  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
