Our Embedded OEM Operations team is a dynamic group responsible for scaling processes to meet our VMware sales organization's incremental growth.

The VMware embedded OEM team helps companies embed VMware products as an integrated component of their overall software, hardware, or appliance design.

VMware enables embedded OEMs in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, video surveillance, communications, gaming, financial services, energy, healthcare, storage, and networking.

We are also a key route to market for VMware IoT and other emerging products. VMware works with our customers to validate designs, align go-

to-market strategies, and provide access to roadmaps and early software releases.

Role :

The Embedded OEM Coordinator is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing the VMware sales and parallel teams.

This role includes responding to high volume inbound and outbound calls and emails while partnering closely with the VMware embedded field team and technical staff, in addition to order management, legal, licensing, pricing and more to drive the VMware sales processes.

The coordinator is accountable for ensuring embedded sales are recognized, processed and booked by maintaining our embedded price lists, submitting purchase orders for processing, and collaborating with the embedded team to establish the team's sales forecast.

Job Responsibilities (not limited to) :

  • Maintaining our various Embedded OEM price lists to ensure customers have access to the latest and most valued products.
  • Onboarding new customers, answering their questions about their new VMware business relationship with VMware.
  • Ensuring customers have a smooth and positive purchasing experience by reviewing their Purchase Orders (POs) and confirming accuracy of the POs
  • Initiating and tracking POs through the purchasing process to license delivery, collaborating with necessary teams to reduce bottleneck delays.
  • Collaborating with our Account Executives weekly to craft the teams forecast for Sales VP review and business analysis.
  • Advancing items that are falling behind agreed upon Service Levels or appear concerning by collaborating with colleagues, cross-functionally.
  • Requirements :

  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Familiar with computers and technology. Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Experience with Salesforce a plus.

  • Capacity to follow a defined process, and recommending process improvements
  • Open to receiving and acting on feedback in an effort to improve results.

  • Prior experience of successfully maintaining working relationship with cross-organization individuals and utilizing indirect influence to ensure critical items are prioritized with appropriate focus on partner or customer satisfaction.
