  • The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible to supervise the AP processes to deliver timely and accurate service to our clients, vendors and related counterparts;
  • ensure quality and teamwork within the team and maintaining a close communication and alignment with counterparts. Identify and execute team’s development plans, among others.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable team.
  • Assure full compliance of negotiated SLA with our clients and vendors by a proper quality process.
  • Understand and assure full knowledge of the business process exceptions that our clients determine whenever apply.
  • Communicate effectively with our clients, vendors and liaisons.
  • Address any issues that prevents the payment to be completed.
  • Provide effective support, guidance, training and solutions to the AP / T&E team members when dealing with processing issues and / or questions.
  • Monitor invoice / payment / T&E processing across the team.
  • Support a flawless month end close.
  • Assure all internal controls are in place and properly met to deliver high quality customer service.
  • Keep documented and updated all different operational processes performed in Accounts Payable.
  • Ensure all migrations are executed according to calendar agreed and a smooth transition of the process.
  • Identify improvement initiatives to obtain best practices to execute the AP / T&E process.
  • Revise and approve AP Module reconciliations.
  • Responsible for performance review process of the team assigned.
  • Identify and execute team’s development plans.

  • Essential Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Languages : English, Spanish
  • Education : Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration.
  • Experience : 3-5 years, 2+ years’ experience in AP leadership positions (team lead or supervisor) for a multinational organization, analytic and interpersonal skills, prior experience in the implementation of AP & Artificial Intelligence for AP automation is desirable.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
