ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist will provide technical advice and assistance during reporting cycles, by focusing on understanding and solutioning the errors generated during the transactions processing, accounting related issues encountered during the month end activities which are impacting the quality of the reporting services, ensure quality and accurate completion of services and key performance indicators (critical metrics), as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Prepare Operations overheads, monthly analysis and follow up with partners on main variances to control the expenses of the business units, analyse the variations and propose new controls to avoid incorrect records that impact the financial documents.
Ownership of financial documents, planning and reports to recognize any wrong information, and raise any potential problems.
First point of contact for internal service teams within Finance. to maintain an effective communication in an internal way, which allows to establish as a business partner, solutions with the stakeholders.
Control accurate transactional data within SAP, to identify errors in the records at the transaction level and provide possible solutions with the finance teams involved.
Ensure SLAs reflect the agreed timings for customers to receive information.
Serve as a SME to other Record-to-Report colleagues.
Perform analytical review of different business scenarios in specific periods (i.e. Budget vs. QPR, SPLY vs. QPR).
Assist General Accounting Team Leader as needed.
Participate in or lead special projects that require creative and analytical skills, to meet the team's objectives in terms of updating, optimizing and integrating new tasks and processes.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated ability in Planning / Commercial finance / Accounting / Finance
High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
Establishes relevant priorities; anticipates obstacles and defines alternative strategies; seeks best way to meet deadlines.
Demonstrates stability under stress, opposition, or change; maintains performance under uncertainty.
Modifies approach to reach an objective; suits style to setting / situation; resourceful in finding different approaches; open to new insights.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
Proficient English Spanish.
CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting.
Experience working with other cultures.
