This position will play a vital role in the creation of a regional FP&A team that supports Experian’s North America business units.
The initial focus will be stabilizing and driving consistency across the centralized labor planning & reporting function including hiring and training / development of new team members.
Secondarily, the focus will be on creating additional capacity to expand the team’s FP&A responsibilities to further support the North America region.
This role will have the opportunity to work closely with Finance teams across all North America businesses and support business unit specific analysis as well as region-
wide initiatives to improve planning and reporting capabilities.
Lead the day-to-day operations of the North America Workforce planning system including communication, planning, and preparation with a focus on process improvement
Consistently train and develop team members in system processes and business partnering
Manage and support region-wide resource planning, financial analysis, and management reporting using Hyperion applications, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Build standardized planning processes with clear visibility to drivers and underlying budget and forecast assumptions
Streamline and automate routine reports to drive more efficiency and improve delivery timetables
Lead projects to continuously improve system automations for planning, reporting and analyses
Institute an effective documentation program to ensure creation and maintenance of desktop procedures (DTPs)
Partner with onshore teams to transition financial planning and reporting functions to the Costa Rica FP&A team
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in
finance. Further desirable experience would include :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related Bachelor degree
Master in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master degree preferred
100% English fluency
Experience business partnering with all levels of North America finance
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to drive collaboration and consistency in business support across a team
Strong Hyperion Planning / Reporting experience ideal
Strong Enterprise systems a must
Solid background in budgeting & forecasting concepts, reporting, analysis and modeling techniques, labor / headcount planning a plus
Experience with establishing and managing an offshore shared service center preferred
Excellent organization skills and highly process oriented, lean training and RPA knowledge a plus
High attention to detail as well as ability to achieve results through delegation across team members
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, remove roadblocks and solve complex problems in a team environment
Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has demonstrated a track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines
Up to 5-10% travel
Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers.
Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening.
