POSITION OVERVIEW Applications Engineer, Semiconductor
Within the Support organization, Applications Engineers areresponsible for Industries and Applications targeted for investment by theSales, Business Units and R&D organizations.
Successful AEs enjoy workingwith customers on a variety of challenging technical assignments that ensureproject success and enable growth within targeted areas of our business.
AEsform trusted technical partnerships with our customers and create mutual valueby guiding system design, development and deployment decisions.
As internal NIsystem users, AEs are in a unique position to recommend application improvementsthat strengthen the value NI delivers to our customers.
As aStaff SemiconductorApplicationsEngineer, you will work with senior AEs to enable Semiconductor AutomatedProduct Test (APT) customer success.
Within the first 6 months, you will buildapplication knowledge and software engineering skills as you work with across-functional team on a customer project.
Within a year, you will acquire NIproduct certifications and develop industry acumen that will enable you tocontinue building your career.
Deliverapplication support to customers individually and through cross-functional teams

Job Requirements STEM-relatedbachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Professionalexperience with the following NI Products as a central part of your current or previous role :
PXI Instruments : Source Measurement Unit, Digital Pattern, DMM, Oscilloscope, Synchronization
Strongsoftware programming skills
Worklocation in Austin, Texas
Availabilityto travel up to 25%
Text-basedsoftware programming experience (Examples : C++, C# / .NET)
Electronicstest engineering experience
