Job Description
This role serves as a strategic Human Resources leader and will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition function.
Responsible for ensuring the Talent Acquisition Program is competitive, sustainable, scalable and has a positive impact on the long and short-term performance of the organization.
Work in partnership with Human Resources Business Partners and the business units to provide effective staffing methods to attract and acquire top talent, inclusive of talent planning, strategic
Recruiting methodologies and early talent deployment (university relations).
Manage Talent Acquisition team
Provide strategic direction with market and organizational insights to build people and workforce strategies
Maintain strategic relationships with academic, consulting and industry peers acting as an in-house expert to shape and guide human capital acquisition
Build relationships and work cross-functionally with a variety of internal and external partners
Partner with HR and business leaders to deploy integrated people strategies, including recruitment, learning and development (e.
g. interview training), coaching and diversity
Create and execute, in conjunction with Talent Programs, client-specific talent strategies to include mobile, social media and employment branding
Identify candidates and develop a network of people, building a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
Develop and lead talent acquisition initiatives required to achieve overall business strategy
Ensure high quality hiring manager and candidate experience
Facilitate the interview process and ensure candidate evaluations are documented
Promote the MicroVention brand to candidates and to external service providers
Manage and accountable for the recruitment budget
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Excellent influencer, connector and facilitator within MicroVention’s environment / culture
Demonstrated track record in taking initiative, working independently and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to stand alone / challenge status quo as well as engage in candid discussion / debate
Relentless recruiter and developer of talent for the organization
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, social media and other online job boards requiring competency in navigating the Internet
Experience building and optimizing recruiting infrastructure (e.g., recruiting strategy, budget, tools, university recruiting)
Strong strategic influencing abilities utilizing consultative approach with clients, peers and partners
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Brass Ring
Proficient with MS Word & Excel
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Six+ years of Talent Acquisition experience and one plus year of leadership responsibility
Five+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition within the medical device industry preferred
Human Resources experience with PHR / SPHR preferred
