Purpose of this position :

This role will be responsible for supervising Check Investigation, Master Date and Special Services (AP Plant Consolidation, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic manufacturing plants payments, Scanning operations.

Services are provided to UCAN and LATAM region. Responsibilities will include supervising the day to day activities, establishing and monitoring standard procedures and / or policies for the different areas.

Main responsibilities :

  • Ensure all services provided are complying with current SLA’s.
  • Ensure Sox compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies.
  • Facilitate problem resolution with other customers.
  • Coordinate projects and process improvement with regional customer leaders.
  • Prepare and consolidate metrics in a monthly basis.
  • Facilitate communication with other Baxter Areas.
  • Develop, coach and provide challenging work environment for team members.
  • Support career development of the new employees both within their current position as well as in situation where employees move to different roles.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management.
  • Will also requires proactiveness, organization, full command of English language, analytical, customer service skills and continually improve the performance of the processes, individuals, team and organization.
  • SCOPE

    The person in charge of this role is required to follow general instructions as well as established procedures and comply with Sox requirements.

    He / She should have the ability to think strategically and provide excellent project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    Besides, it’s important that the person should have strong financial knowledge; IT systems aptitude, excellent relationship management skills, and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.

    As a leader within Baxter, the person will be expected to make learning and development business priority, accountable and recognized for providing challenging work and focused development.

    ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in business administration or accounting career.
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in similar positions.
  • NEEDED SKILLS

  • Bilingual (English-Spanish)
  • Computer Knowledge ability
  • Work under pressure
  • Ability in interpersonal relationships

  • Advanced Knowledge in excel
  • DESIRABLES SKILLS

  • JD Edwards 8.12 knowledge.
  • Accounts payables experience.
  • Procurement tools knowledge.
