  • Responsible for leadership and supervision of accounting staff including Sr Analyst, Analyst and Accounting Associates.
  • Ensure SOx compliance.
  • Ensure the services are provided according to the service level agreements (SLAs) approved by customers.
  • Track performance management objectives and development plans for the team members.
  • Facilitate problem resolution with other customers.
  • Partner with the Service Delivery partner (Genpact) A2R and C2C teams in the day to day activities.
  • Explain and enforce company rules, policies and regulations
  • Ensure GL module is accurate maintain and closed on time.
  • Monitor the process related to accruals, amortization, prepaid, payroll, taxes, management, expenses allocation, reclassifications and adjustments, journal entries.
  • Sales reconciliation and follow up of Ledger vs sub-ledger differences.
  • Monitor the income tax accrual, technical services and management monthly calculation.
  • Monitor the monthly financial statement submission.
  • Supervise the year end roll over process.
  • Assure that all month end close processes are done correctly.
  • Approved and review the account reconciliations of the Team and Genpact.
  • Coordinate the Quarterly Balance Sheet Review files consolidation.
  • Ensure all monthly metrics are properly prepare and distributed on time.
  • Analyze and resolve exception / error generated from the process.
  • Troubleshoot with all BAS departments and LAC region’s finance contacts.
  • Attend meetings with customers and Baxter personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate the annual, quarterly and monthly reports when required, using PC software, Word, Excel, Hyperion, PowerPoint and JDE.
  • Ensure all services provided are complying with SLA’s, S-Ox and Corporate Policies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management.
  • Attend controllers, regional managers, planning department and corporate external and internal audit.
  • Review and approve the reconciliation, Task and Journal documentation in Blackline.
  • Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual reports (reporting package, MICP, Schedule L and M.
  • Coordinates of balance sheet review consolidation with all areas.
  • Support and coordinates the annual closing processing for the GA.
  • Based on his / her knowledge and expertise provide support to the rest of the GA team.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, legal requirements, CCSS, Revenue Services and INS reporting.
  • Supervise the calculate and files income tax return (d101), withholding tax return (d103), Information schedules (d151, d152), education and culture tax (d110).
  • Monitor the statutory financial statement including non deductible expenses.
  • Supervise Fiscal, tax and statutory literary and proper application of any new requirements.
  • The person in charge of this role is required to follow general instructions as well as established procedures and comply with Sox requirements.

    Will also require proactiveness, organization, English knowledge, plus analytical and customer service skills, excellent relationship and ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, providing support to different Americas processes within BAS.

    This position will be responsible for supervising the record, reconciliation and controls maintenance for the month end close and the annual roll over process to report the Financial Statements by Americas..

    External and internal audit support, and statutory information among others customer requirements such as external audit & local taxes by Americas.

    In addition, this position provides support to different activities such as audit requirements review, reports preparation, customer requirements, follow up and activities or deliveries coordination with the different teams, besides, this position supervising the calculate, record and report all the related to statutory requirements.

    Bachelor degree in Public accounting or business administration

    At least 2 years in similar position.
