The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function reports into Corporate Services (CS).
Our Health and Safety Engineers make a big impact. We are looking for a talented individual utilizing safety / industrial hygiene expertise to ensure Intel's compliance with local and corporate health and safety regulations and requirements by implementing programs, systems and controls that ensure a safe working environment for our employees.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, passion, leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
EHS Regulations / Intel EHS Standards review and interpretation for compliance assurance.
Hazard assessments Job Hazards Analysis, Decontamination, Equipment EHS sign off, Personal Protection Equipment, Risk determination, Pre-task planning (PTP), chemical approval, Fire protection, etc).
Exposure assessments (noise, light, heat, radiation, dosimetry, ventilation, particles, chemicals, laser, etc).
Implementation of required controls (engineering, administrative, etc).
Administration of EHS equipment (equipment calibration, maintenance, inventory, repairs, etc).
Field inspections for compliance assurance (auditing & self-assessments, safety / Industrial Hygiene (IH) reviews, Contractors (CW EHS) management & oversight).
Incident investigation, root cause analysis and proposition of corrective / preventive actions.
Management of compliance records, metrics, tasks and action plans closure in the EHS portal.
Submittal of permits, certifications, external reports, licenses, etc.
EHS training review & delivery.
Support BU management in safety culture maturity advancement.
Interaction with regulatory agencies and hosting site inspections and visits.

This is an experienced-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and / or internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications :
Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Environmental, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering
The candidate must possess 3+ years of experience applying OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI requirements, with extensive knowledge of local legislation on EHS matters.
Advanced English Level.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Environmental, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene or Safety Engineering.
Professional EHS Certifications are a plus : Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Additional languages are a plus Portuguese).
Experience working in a semiconductor or manufacturing facilities.
Knowledge and experience implementing SEMI standards.
Computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other software as needed.
