The HRIS Analyst will be a member of a dynamic global HR Information Systems and Analytics team. You will report to the Manager for HRIS Core Systems Support and provide systems support for Workday and other HRIS functions.

Systems Administration & Support (80% of time) :
Triage and resolve global support cases on system, process, or data issues.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
Monitor various integrations for errors, and provide integration issue troubleshooting. Work with the integration owners and / or external vendors as necessary to rectify integration errors, resubmit files, etc.
Troubleshoot bugs and reported issues by researching Workday Community or independent testing. Document resolution or escalate to HRIS Management as necessary.
Recommend process or system workarounds where possible and ensure tickets are opened for all critical Production bugs.
Manage tickets and escalations via established processes & systems.
Escalate systems administration and end-user issues promptly to HRIS team members or VMware IT; follow issues through to resolution (including testing, deployment, user communications)
Escalate process change requests, system enhancements or any other major resource requests to HRIS leadership team for prioritization.
Create new support documentation for new support topics and issues as they arise; update existing support documentation to keep up to date with most current information.
Perform system administration functions for Workday including object and business process configuration, data loads, security administration, etc.
HR Systems Projects (20% of time) :
Participate in Workday Update processes including testing of functionality, integrations, reports & dashboards. This may include reviewing Workday documentation, creating test cases, executing test cases or review of test case results, maintaining issue logs, etc.
Under direction of HR Systems Manager or Project Manager, participate on other system implementation or upgrade project teams by performing business requirement gathering, business process review, project management, creating test cases, participating in QA testing and leading others through UAT, documentation development, communication, cutover, etc.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area; or equivalent experience.
HRIS experience using HCM : Workday, Oracle HR, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors.
HRIS experience with Workday Recruiting strongly preferred.
Basic Reporting and Analytics experience.
Experience in a support environment, using Help Ticketing system to prioritize, manage, communicate and resolve issues.
Experience with identifying improvement opportunities, defining and implementing new processes.
Experience participating in HR projects or programs.
Good understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance and IT business processes as well as intra and inter-departmental functions and interdependencies.
Demonstrated ability to interpret a business transactional issue and identify resolution paths.
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical.
Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices.
Ability to work flex time 1-2 days per week to support until 5pm PST time.
