The Human Resources Sr Manager will provide HR leadership and generalist support to various client groups at the manufacturing facility.
In this role, the individual will develop and maintain close business partnerships with the leadership team (s) and partner with them to develop, implement and evaluate / monitor HR programs, policies, and processes to support the achievement of business objectives.
Operating within the integrated HR model, the individual will partner with various parts of the HR organization to develop and deliver appropriate services.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop as a HRBP the game plan, to execute HR strategies and support the achievement of business objectives and achievement of desired culture, providing overall leadership, direction and development of the HR function including training, staffing and compensation, continually monitors effectiveness.
Consult with management on a variety of HR and business related issues, both strategically and operationally.
Assess the effectiveness of the organization's business model and organization dynamics and leads efforts to realign / refocus as needed.
Provide ongoing advice and counsel to all levels of the organization to resolve employee related matters and partners with management to ensure fair and equitable solutions are implemented and issues are resolved.
Provide coaching and development feedback to individuals at all levels within the organization with the correct talent management approach.
Drive organization wide talent planning initiatives (in partnership with Corporate Talent Management) including profiling, assessment, calibration, development planning and sucession planning.
Ensure integrated HR systems including compensation and benefits and performance management are implemented.
Provides feedback to COEs on effectiveness of programs and unmet needs.
Manage and oversee the implementation and administration of Equal Employment and other HR policies
Assures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and 6S, in compliance with federal and local agencies and special approach to the regulatory aspect such as EHS, quality, labor and finance .
Ensure with EHS responsible community relations programs. Maintain company visibility and constructive rapport with the surrounding community.
Oversee the administration of all employees services.
Implement and direct professional and technical recruiting as well as manage non-exempt recruiting plans for the site.
Ensure the compensation program practices for the plant are internally equitable, externally competitive to create the adequate environment towards optimum levels of performance.
Ensure and work in comply with all Ergonomic aspects.
Provide ergonomically-designed furniture and tools to promote a safe and healthy work environment in your department.
Identify and evaluate all risks and environmental aspects of the area of responsibility. Able to recognize new risks.
Ensure that personnel under his / her supervision are trained and know the risks and environmental aspects of the area.
Any other support required from functional areas or other countries.
To be agents in cultural changes that seek to promote compliance with quality requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Drive iCare initiatives across the organization. Ensure the availability of necessary tools for the resolution of problems that may affect the quality, safety or effectiveness of the product or the regulatory consistency of the process.
Continuously seek regulatory excellence in their work teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Master’s degree (Industrial / Organizational Psychology, MBA in HR) preferred.
Requires 8 years’ general business or HR experience, with at least 5 years of Human Resources management experience.
Thorough knowledge of labor laws
HR master’s degree will be desirable
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities in a changing environment.
Bilingual : (English and Spanish).
Solid knowledge in the development of human resources strategies
