The Senior Director Mfg. Supply Chain Operations is responsible for maintaining network continuity of supply to support manufacturing operations.
Responsible for strategic direction and tactical execution functions and end to end activities related to production planning and monitoring, material purchasing, inventory control and shipping / receiving and logistics functions.
This individual ensures short-term effectiveness and long-term viability of the supply chain to support production operations, developing and maintaining lasting relationships with internal and external suppliers and customers.
Additionally, this role will assist in executing strategic initiatives that drive productivity and operational effectiveness of the Sports franchise and S&N supply chain.
Responsibilities :
In case of deviations to financial targets, develops plans to mitigate impacts (5%).
Location : Costa Rica
Education : BS Supply Chain or related field; MBA preferred
Licenses / Certifications : Not Required; APIC / Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Advanced Leadership Training desired.
Experience :
10 or more years' experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Buying / Planning and Procurement
Experience in multi-national manufacturing operation with global supply network under effects of foreign exchange fluctuations.
Experience in Medical device manufacturing.
Direct experience with international currency exchanges is desirable.

Knowledge of the following standards : ISO 13485 : 2003, Current Canadian Medical Device Regulations (CMDR), CMDCAS- Canadian Medical Device Conformity Assessment System, Current US Food and Drug Administration -Quality System Regulations.
Knowledge / Experience in following areas :
Fully Bilingual (English - Spanish)
Experience managing ODM’s, EM’s and diverse suppliers
In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, Order entry, Advanced Supply Planning, & IT requirements integrating Supply Chain Collaboration tools with legacy systems
