Position summary :
Stryker is implementing a transformative program focused on optimizing the Finance function to support business growth and functional scalability.
The Center of Excellence (COE) for the Americas region will focus on supporting countries and product divisions in the region in a variety of specialized finance and accounting areas, including financial planning & reporting, finance systems, leases, inventory, and other complex accounting areas.
In the early stages of building out the COE, the Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Reporting will focus on stabilizing a financial planning & reporting system solution (SAP Business Planning & Consolidation BPC) and migrating financial planning & reporting processes to the COE.
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Reporting will partner with specific divisions to ensure financial planning & reporting requirements are met.
As processes are established, additional divisions will be onboarded as part of the Americas COE, and this position will support the transition.
As the COE continues its expansion into other accounting / finance areas, the Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Reporting will have the opportunity to assist in a variety of projects and gain exposure to different operating units.
The ideal candidate for this role will have an understanding of financial planning & reporting processes, coupled with the ability and desire to provide hands-on experience as this role will be heavily involved in processes regarding data loading and reconciliation.

Responsibilities-financial planning & reporting service delivery :
Acting as BPC point of contact for Costa Rica Shared Services location.
Partnering with Division / Group Business users with regular and ad-hoc planning tasks to ensure successful submission.
Supporting BPC application with regular month-end close activities including loading transaction data, maintaining FX rates, performing regular and ad-hoc reconciliation.
Assisting with scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance activities in BPC.
Supporting Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) data loads and reconciliation for Business Units that went live on BPC.
Engaging in future BPC roll-outs with application testing, user training and on-boarding.
Collaborating with Cost Rica COE on various projects and strategic initiatives.

Education & special trainings :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance or related field
Intermediate level of MS Office Suite
Fluent spoken and written English. Portuguese is a plus
Experience on finance related systems, (Oracle and SAP systems knowledge are a big plus).
Qualifications & experience :
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in National or Multinational company.
Preferably previous experience analyzing Financial Statements
Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
Experience working with SAP FICO
Experience working with SAP BPC and / or Oracle HFM Planning applications
Strong ability to coordinate action across dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization
Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
