What we need :
Mohawk is looking for an Account Executive to be the principal selling agent within an assigned segment and territory.
This position will be responsible for discovering new customers and building relationships with existing customers to strengthen our position as the world’s leading flooring manufacturer.
What you’ll do :
Travel to customer locations to provide information, support and resolution of any issues that arise
Conduct sales presentations
Own the customer transaction process from calculation to closing
Monitor territory performance and take action to improve where needed
Assist with setting sales objectives and coverage plans for the assigned segment and territory
Inform management of industry, product, economic and other territory changes that may impact sales and overall company business
Maintain responsibility for continuously improving activities that can affect customer perception
What you have :
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience
1 to 3 years of related work experience, education or training
What you’re good at :
Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers
Working with diverse groups of people at all organizational levels
Using appropriate conflict resolution methods when needed
Collecting and analyzing statistical and financial data
Expect to travel for trade shows, customer visitation, etc.
