Position Purpose

The Master Data Maintenance Project Integration Lead is responsible for successfully bringing projects from concept to completion including the effective transition of master data activities out of business units during migrations, effective deployments execution and effective implementation of other projects involving Master Data Maintenance scope.

In all cases, working to reduce or eliminate negative impact to the customer and reduce performance dips following go live / transition.

This position requires an experienced analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, influence others, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.

It also requires proficient knowledge in master data objects and project management to be utilized to work closely with partners, including but not limited to business unit and function customers, representatives, and third-

party providers. Gain solid understanding of the master data processes taking place in the business units. Develop accurate steady state estimates, working with both the business unit and operational teams.

Drive the implementation of additional automation, if needed. Identify gaps and propose improvements. Ensure that the business unit and CBS staff are prepared through training, etc.

to reduce and eliminate issues after going live.

This position is responsible for the integration and the execution of all project-related work involving Master Data Maintenance and responsible to handing over activities to Master Data Maintenance Operational teams.

It includes aligning timelines, process mapping, solution design and construction, testing, training, implementation, stabilization, and project closing.

This role is also responsible for maintaining process integrity and standardization within the region as per Global accepted standards and service taxonomy.

Principal Accountabilities

35%BUSINESS PARTNERING, RELATIONSHIP AND SERVICE MANAGEMENT

  • Serve as Data Process and Project liaison to the Businesses, Master Data Maintenance and other Functions
  • Act as the execution expert to ensure the processes and systems support the business
  • Build functional knowledge, as needed, within Master Data Maintenance
  • Address questions about charges for master data management
  • The master data activities and services this position will work on are finance, material, customer, vendor master data domains, including vendor verification processes, from a project management perspective, not day-
  • to-day operations itself.

  • This role is accountable for designing, building and aligning the workflow of processes with the BU’s and functions which includes metrics, measures, roles & responsibilities, technology, participants, etc.
  • Enable integration of complex sub-process areas, including data, change management / education, and security, by collaborating across teams and solving problems before they arise in production
  • Consult on volume projections and utilize experience to influence accuracy of estimates
  • Provide consulting and training to customers, stakeholders and partners to increase the value of our services to them
  • Participate actively in Go Live and Post Go Live by providing functional / technical expertise as well as issue identification, escalation, and resolution
  • Participate in localized process development, communication, training (development of training, localization of training & training delivery) and implementation for process designs within area of scope
  • 35%PROJECT EXECUTION AND VALUE REALIZATION

  • Execute in Business Unit / Function training around Master Data Maintenance processes
  • Ensure consistency of approach across multiple deployments
  • Escalate risks and issues as appropriate
  • Review and provide feedback on the project scope and objectives
  • Translates and analyzes variances from the project plan, researches alternatives, and implements the preferred / approved recommendations
  • Defines project objectives and scope for workstream activities in the data management and business intelligence area to ensure that project objectives are delivered on time, on budget and within scope
  • Identifies, reviews, and plans project demand needs for data and business analytics initiatives and ensures that resource capacity is allocated according to project demands
  • Partners with the training / education of data management and master data maintenance process and solution users as needed.
  • Participates in data management & business intelligence solution development, communication, training and implementation
  • Provides technical expertise to the work plan, schedule, budget and required personnel for complex solution deployments
  • 20%SOLUTION LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE

  • Provide leadership for Master Data Maintenance process activities across implementations and migrations
  • Bring stakeholders along on the change journey at the appropriate pace to ensure successful execution of the plan
  • Engage with customers and other stakeholder groups, as necessary, to foster productive relationships and move forward through the change journey
  • 10%PEOPLE AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT

  • Provides coaching and / or training to more junior members of the team, including coaching Cargill core values
  • May participate in selection of employees and provide input on plans for future workforce needs
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience
  • 7+ years business process or information technology (Finance, Accounting, IT, etc.) experience
  • 5 + years project management experience
  • Experience with business process and information technology project integration
  • Large project deployment experience
  • Experience in SAP Data Deployment
  • Experience in transitions of work to third parties and / or shared services
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and focus on the customer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent teamwork and people skills, positive attitude, excellent organizational skills and follow-up, strong sense of urgency and orientation to results
