Renewal Sales Manager - Remote - Costa Rica

Avtex, a TTEC Digital company, is seeking a Renewal Sales Manager to join our growing Digital business segment. This is a remote, Costa Rica based opportunity.

As a Renewal Manager you will be responsible for owning and executing a large portfolio of TTEC Digital renewal contracts while creating strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Customer Success teams to secure every renewal.

You will be responsible for minimizing financial attrition, locking in the most favorable terms, identifying growth opportunities, and sharing your findings and insights back to the business.

Renewal Managers are responsible for ensuring that their customers are set up for success while ensuring financial results for TTEC Digital.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Own, drive and manage the client-facing renewal process, and collaborate with the TTEC Digital Account team to create a cohesive customer experience
  • Act as a subject matter expert / Renewals brand ambassador and mentor to other members of the extended TTEC Digital team
  • Lead the customer facing renewal sales cycle from 4+ months out from renewal expiration date, including preparing the renewal contracts and client communications, along with spearheading all client negotiations
  • Develop successful relationships with your portfolio of customers and partners
  • Execute win / win negotiation strategies for TTEC Digital Tier 1 account contract renewals, that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing customer trust
  • Partner with Leadership, Sales, and Customer Success teams, to fully understand and develop a clear renewal strategy for each customer based on data driven decisions that maximize account growth opportunities
  • Accurately maintain a rolling 120-day forecast of renewals in your portfolio, and ensure any uncovered risk is clearly communicated to develop resolution strategies and leverage internal, and partner, resources to drive positive outcomes
  • Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management and business capabilities to drive renewal to on-time closure
  • Follow and adhere to best practices for all internal processes including, but not limited to, CRM Opportunity management, Forecasting, Legal, Exception Requests, and Order processing
  • Manage the different facets of subscription and maintenance support renewals
  • Refine renewal strategies to proactively engage a client to secure renewal rates
  • Process improvement consultation and development innovating along the way
  • Drive ARR growth and exceptional renewal rates to meet the desired goals and KPIs
  • What skills you will bring :

  • Have 5+ years of experience in the fields of sales, customer success, or renewals, with a focus on negotiating contracts all in the B2B SaaS industry is a huge advantage
  • A strong executive stand and the quality to partner closely within the multiple layers of the organization
  • Strong Track record of achieving & exceeding Quota / KPI based roles
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills that allow for value-based contract negotiations at the C-Suite level
  • Strong process management, financial acumen, and adherence to policy
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities, and meet deadlines daily
  • Ability to manage a large number of active accounts and identify problems, opportunities and provide solutions for each of them
  • Strong customer management skills, including soft skills and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Capability to win people over, along with act as an influencer and strong negotiator
  • Astute at conflict resolution as it pertains to the renewal negotiations
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • You have been described as someone who always can see the big picture and how things are interconnected
  • Make well-informed decisions with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365 (or other CRM)
