The Amazon Vision Operations Center (AVOC) team is an initiative, which remotely handles exceptions in the different Robotics use cases globally.
AVOC seeks to complement automated vision based decision-making technologies by providing remote human support for the subset of tasks which require higher cognitive ability and cannot be processed through automated decision making with high confidence.
This team provides end-to-end solutions through inbuilt competencies of Operations and strong central specialized teams to deliver programs at Amazon scale.
The New Business Development (NBD) team in AVOC manages multiple programs, with both synchronous and asynchronous requirements.
AVOC NBD is looking for a Program Manager II - Planning and Workforce Management, who is passionate about their work, understands how to manage resources across a network of sites, and who has the ability to contribute new innovations to the Amazon AVOC Global Planning & Workforce Management Team.
As a Program Manager on the team, you will enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
You will communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing. The ideal candidate is a leader with demonstrated ability to implement Forecasting, Planning & Workforce management methodologies, process mapping, optimization techniques and make data driven decisions for project deliverables.
They will also possess an analytic, statistical and optimization background to enable tactical workforce planning. Cross-team collaboration, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with multiple business teams, Site Operations, Recruitment, Training and Leadership.
A passion for developing a standard Global Planning & Workforce Management model is required, as is engaging your team to do the same.
