We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).
This is an exciting opportunity to drive our Nucleus Intelligent Enterprise Platform to help our clients realize their Digital Transformation goals.
NTT DATA is looking for a leader who can build and evolve our hyperautomation portfolio to address leading technologies, with particular emphasis on automating the application lifecycle.
The person will develop industry leading services and capabilities and work with our existing and new clients to drive growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the team to the next stage of product management maturity
Drive the roadmap, capability development, and business evolution of the Nucleus product for the relevant portfolio
Coach the other product managers on best practices for product management and product development, with a focus on practical implementation
Practically drive transformation of product development practices to the target state, in conjunction with the program manager and the rest of the leadership team
Evaluate and prioritize market opportunities and needs to identify the best investments
Define and manage the service offer development roadmap and investments.
Collaborate with R&D and delivery SMEs to define and develop new services and capabilities
Collaborate with other service leaders in areas such as app management, cloud, app modernization, automation and analytics, workplace services, cloud & hybrid infrastructure services to define emerging services and messaging
Provide leadership on go-to-market activities and product launches
Assist with pursuits and proposals including oral presentations
Evangelize the services to internal stakeholders, the market, customers, and industry analysts
Train sellers on how to message App dev capabilities with their clients and prospects
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on solutions messaging and creating technical sales / support materials
Identify partnership opportunities and help manage partnerships
Work with stakeholders, draw up a stakeholder map and constantly refine. Understand who the main sponsors are - business / technical, the customer journey owners, the sign-off process, and other relevant org units - Brand, Legal, Copywriters and so on.
Gain an understanding of the likelihood of business direction change / potential frequency of change / the drivers behind the change.
Built networks and bridges with Engineering teams working collaboratively as a cross-functional team.
Work with the UX / UI designers to identify the main areas of their focus.
Update the definition of ready and the definition of done. >
UX done, Visual Design done, Story done, Business Rules done, API ready and onboarded if applicable, Solution Design done, URLs / SharePoint locations, JSON / Sample request / response strings available.
Attend standups and all necessary scrum meetings (grooming, planning, retro, demo)
Work with the developers on the backlog management tools, when necessary, to answer questions and provide clarifications.
Approve prioritised epics as ready for elaboration
Create high level user stories and features from approved epics
Approve low level stores to form the basis for development
Approve the developed work in the show and tell or raise a defect if not approved
Prioritise the backlog of stories / defects
Approve development as done
Lead retrospectives to be done after each sprint, and constantly evolve the ways of working to suit the team dynamic.
Represent Offering team within the Nucleus team, including overall approval of user stories and development
Skills and qualifications
Must possess strong perspective on modern automation tools and methods, including automating application management, infrastructure management, workplace services, and business processes.
Must have extensive digital product development background, and should have worked for a digital product company (e.g. software company).
Must have extensive experience in application management, systems integration, workplace services, RPA.
Must understand and influence the product release cycle.
Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps tools, and other SW delivery lifecycle tools.
Leadership skills : experience leading a team to achieving results
Coaching skills : ability to support and lead by example
Extensive experience managing a senior team
Stakeholder management : ability to interface and communicate at the CxO level within a Fortune 500 corporation
