The Challenge

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will join the International Strategy and Product Management team for the Digital Media Business Unit (Creative Cloud & Document Cloud), focusing on building out a comprehensive language expansion plan for a large portfolio of Adobe applications.

What you will do :

  • Work with individual product groups to analyze their current language support offerings, and partner with the International Business & Global Growth Team to identify key expansion opportunities and assist with long-term prioritization and roadmap scheduling
  • Identify expansion needs (tailored to different aspects like product categories, segments, and surfaces / devices) and work with multiple support teams to scope requirements on a language-by-language basis for each product launch.
  • This will include prioritization of cross-product technologies and features for each language and region

  • Pitch different global expansion options / scenarios to senior leadership in order to establish alignment with organization goals
  • Work with internal technology teams to assure language support is available on time and at quality for each language as dictated by the roadmap.
  • Work with the teams to remove dependencies and obtain funding where needed

  • Partner with product teams to ensure that international expansion requirements are incorporated into their respective product road maps and that they are maintaining compliance with the schedule
  • Work closely with the greater Adobe ecosystem to coordinate implementation of expansion plans
  • Advocate for in-product instrumentation to allow us to gather relevant international data based on customer usage
  • Work with regions and ISPM peers to Identify trends for international customers and report as needed to appropriate product teams
  • Collaborate with other regional managers on the international product management and strategy team to stay aligned with corporate, regional, and business unit goals

  • Ability to observe, clarify and document customer needs / requirements, as well as communicate the value of those needs to product teams across Adobe
  • Ability to clearly document, prioritize and validate problem statements and translate into concrete tasks
  • Ability to clearly assess and prioritize multiple issues
  • Ability to align with product teams with a goal toward balancing globalization and product team interests
  • You are self-motivated, resourceful, able to work cross-functionally and able to work across Adobe business units and champion awareness within Adobe for international products, needs and customer successes
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence others
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Preferred : Localization or globalization background or understanding of international issues. Proficiency in a second language other than English, and / or time spent in a non-U.S. region
  • Helpful : Management and / or prior experience with creative processes like graphic / web / video creation workflows
